Abdullahi Sheriff is the Managing Director for Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei at MSD. He is committed to building a trusted organization that improves patient lives and contributes meaningfully to the healthcare ecosystem across the region.

Sheriff joined MSD in 2020 as Associate Vice President, Global Market Access, where he led the Sustainable Access Solutions team to expand access to MSD’s medicines and vaccines worldwide. He oversaw strategic initiatives improving access to oncology medicines and vaccines across the US, China, Europe, Asia Pacific, Latin America, and Sub-Saharan Africa, and established centers of excellence in value-based contracting and innovative partnerships.

Before joining MSD, Sheriff held leadership roles at GE Healthcare across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and spent several years in consulting in the UK, working closely with the NHS.

He serves on the boards of SAPI and PhAMA, holds an Engineering Doctorate and MSc from Loughborough University.
