


Nidhi Swarup is a globally recognised patient advocate and key opinion leader in patient engagement and healthcare transformation. With extensive experience across Asia and internationally, she has played a pivotal role in advancing patient-centric care, particularly in chronic disease management. Despite living with multiple chronic conditions, she has led the establishment of patient support groups across Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, and India, demonstrating strong leadership and impact in the advocacy space.
Nidhi holds multiple advisory and leadership roles, including positions with the World Health Organization’s Patients for Patient Safety Network, Patient Focused Medicine Development, and national healthcare committees in Singapore. She is also President of the Crohn’s & Colitis Society of Singapore and Chairman of the Alliance of Patients’ Organizations Singapore.
Her work focuses on integrating patient voices into healthcare systems, policy, and clinical research, driving meaningful change toward more inclusive and holistic care models.
