Dr Stephanie Tan, MBBS, is a medical doctor and healthcare leader with over 20 years of experience in clinical trials, regulatory affairs, and patient advocacy across Australia and Asia. She has worked across clinical sites, academia, CROs, and industry.

Dr Tan is co-founder of AbbeMed, a doctor-led health navigation company helping patients and families access clinical trials and emerging treatments globally. She also leads Abbe Consulting, advising biotech and pharmaceutical organisations on clinical development strategy and governance. Additionally, she serves as Board Observer at the Bionics Institute in Melbourne, contributing to translational research and medtech innovation.

Drawing from both professional expertise and lived caregiving experience, Dr Tan advocates for patient-centred care and meaningful patient engagement in research. She holds a Master of Medicine (by research) and senior executive MBA from the University of Melbourne, with executive education at Stanford and Harvard.
