Dr. Aimi Nadiah binti Jamel began her career as a medical doctor before transitioning into research. She has extensive experience in healthcare-related research, including studies on healthcare facilities, workforce, services, as well as patient and provider satisfaction and population-based health outcomes. Her research interests focus on improving the quality of cause-of-death data, estimating cause-specific mortality, assessing healthcare quality, and exploring social determinants of health and mental health. Currently, she leads a team responsible for governing and managing the operations of the Institute for Clinical Research (ICR), including overseeing its nationwide network of 37 Clinical Research Centers (CRC).
