Dr Cheah Wee Kooi is a Consultant Physician in Internal Medicine and Geriatric, and currently the Head of Department of Medicine and Clinical Research Centre, Hospital Taiping. He is also a committee member for Evaluation Committee for Specialist Medical Qualifications (commonly known as JKP2) under the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC), adjunct Professor of Medicine for the QUEST International University (QIU) and the former Ministry of Health Head of Service for Internal Medicine. He was part of the technical committee and trainer for trainers on Malaysian Guideline for Good Clinical Practice (GCP), 5^th edition. He is active both in teaching and research.
