Dr Pooja Sharma is a gynecologist with over 30 years of experience in clinical research, trained at the Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU, Varanasi, and having worked at leading institutions including AIIMS New Delhi and Medanta Hospital, Gurugram. She is a dedicated patient advocate and advisor at the Pediatric Cancer Research Institute (Cankids…Kidscan), supporting strategic initiatives in pediatric oncology research. Dr Sharma has served as a member and chair of multiple ethics committees and leads the PACER initiative, collaborating with 41 patient advocacy groups to promote clinical research awareness and patient-centric practices. As CEO of APAR Health, she focuses on capacity building in clinical research. Her work bridges science and society, empowering patients to actively participate in the research process.
