Dr. Li-Tzong Chen is Chair Professor of Internal Medicine at Kaohsiung Medical University and Chief Executive Officer of the Center for Cancer Research, Kaohsiung Medical University, Taiwan. He is also affiliated with the National Institute of Cancer Research, National Health Research Institutes, Taiwan, and has long served as an attending physician in gastroenterology and oncology. His clinical and research interests focus on gastrointestinal cancers, including hepatobiliary and pancreatic cancers, as well as clinical trials and translational research. Within ATLAS, he serves as Chair of the Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Cancer Group, contributing to the development of regional collaborative research in Asia.
