Dr. Nurain Mohd Noor is a consultant endocrinologist at Hospital Putrajaya. She currently serves as the Head of the Endocrine Subspeciality, MOH; chairman of the Medical Research & Ethics Committee (MREC) and the Head of the Clinical Research Centre, Hospital Putrajaya. She obtained her MBBS from University Malaya and her MMed from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia before pursuing her Endocrine subspeciality fellowship, completed in 2006.

She has been actively involved in research throughout her career, being involved as an investigator in studies related to diabetes and endocrine. She has multiple publications in peer review journals in areas including clinical research, research ethics and endocrinology.
